Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Labor and Industrial Relations Management:

    • Manage labor and industrial relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures related to labor relations.
    • Handle employee grievances and disputes effectively and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  2. HR Operations:

    • Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
    • Ensure smooth and efficient HR processes and systems.
  3. HR Budgeting:

    • Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenditures and optimize costs within the HR department.
  4. Management Information Systems (MIS):

    • Implement and maintain MIS for HR data analysis and reporting.
    • Utilize HR metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Employee Engagement and Retention:

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for employee engagement and retention.
    • Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
  6. Guidance and Support:

    • Provide guidance and support to HR team members and line managers on labor and employee relations matters.
    • Mentor and develop the HR team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  7. Compliance and Best Practices:

    • Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
    • Implement necessary changes to HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • MBA HR from a reputed institute.
  • Experience:

    • 7 - 9 years of experience in HR Labor and Industrial Relations management or a related field.
    • Proven experience in employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in HR budgeting and managing MIS systems.
