Educational Background: MBA with a specialization in Human Resources preferred, but not mandatory for candidates with strong L&D experience.

Job Overview

The Team Member - Learning & Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture at company by developing, executing, and managing comprehensive learning programs that align with the organization’s goals. This middle-level role focuses on L&D strategies, curriculum design, and stakeholder management to drive employee development across corporate and plant locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Program Design: Design innovative and engaging learning programs for diverse employee groups, including sales and marketing teams.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create effective training materials and resources.
  • Delivery and Execution: Ensure the successful delivery and facilitation of learning initiatives within set timelines and budgets.
  • Training Evaluation: Continuously evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with department heads, HR, and external vendors to ensure alignment of learning initiatives.
  • Leadership Development: Design leadership development programs aimed at identifying and nurturing talent across all levels.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change efforts by creating training interventions that help employees adapt and grow.
  • Technology Integration: Stay up-to-date with learning technologies and integrate relevant tools to enhance learning experiences.
  • Compliance: Ensure all L&D activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Manage the L&D budget to ensure cost-effective resource utilization and maximum ROI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale L&D initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Deep understanding of learning theories, instructional design, and adult learning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related technologies.
  • Experience in designing and executing L&D programs tailored to sales and marketing audiences.
  • Knowledge of benchmark HR practices, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Certification in instructional design or training facilitation is a plus.

  • Flexibility to consider candidates with 8-9 years of experience if they possess strong L&D management expertise.
  • The candidate should have the ability to customize training programs for sales and marketing teams.
