Responsible for Sales, Collection, Overall Business Development in the respective export market for wires & cables of type HT/ LT/ Power Cable / Domestic Cables/ Submersible Cables/ Other Cables as per various International Standards.
Role Description:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential export markets for the company's cable products.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to make informed export decisions.
Export Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive export strategy in line with the company's goals and objectives.
- Create annual export plans and set targets for sales and revenue growth.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, export laws, and documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in export laws and regulations to mitigate risks.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, agents, and customers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with overseas partners.
Logistics and Shipping:
- Oversee the logistics and shipping processes to ensure timely delivery of products to international customers.
- Manage freight forwarders, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
Quality Control and Standards:
- Ensure that exported cable products meet the quality standards and specifications required by international markets.
- Implement quality control processes to meet customer expectations.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the export division's budget, including forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Monitor financial performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions, contracts, and shipments.
- Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with international trade, including currency fluctuations, political instability, and economic changes.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of export professionals, including sales representatives and export coordinators.
- Provide guidance, training, and support for team members.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on export performance, including sales, profitability, and market trends.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and strategic adjustments.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Establish contacts and partnerships to expand the company's global presence.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve export processes and strategies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
- Adapt to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Customer Support:
- Provide after-sales support to international customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sustainability and Compliance:
- Stay informed about sustainability initiatives and compliance requirements in international markets.
- Ensure the company's products and processes align with environmental and social standards.
