Position-Purchase Specialist
Experience - Min 6 Years
CTC-5 to 7 LPA 
Qualification- B. Tech/ MBA Supply Chain
Gender - Male Only
Preference - Married Candidate

Job Location Location:- Head Office - Ludhiana, Punjab

Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components,  equipment etc. Plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.

Job Description:
1- Vendor Management: 
-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers. 
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
2- Sourcing and Procurement:
-Source and procure materials, parts, equipment, and services in accordance with project and requirements. 
-Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
-Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
3- Quality Assurance: 
-Ensure that purchased materials and components meet quality standards and specifications. Resolve quality-related issues with suppliers.
4- Cost Analysis: 
-Analyze supplier pricing and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
-Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
5- Documentation
-Maintain accurate records of procurement activities. Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS,COMPETENCIES & JOB REQUIREMENT:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    2.  6 years of exp. in procurement, preferably in Capex and in Import/Export Industry.
    3. Strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of procurement best practices. 
    4. Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools. 
    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    7. Attention to detail and organizational skills. 
    8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 
    9. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards. 
    10. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. 
    11. Technical knowledge related to the products or services being procured. 
    12. Multilingual skills, for dealing with international suppliers.
