Role: Operation Head - Sinter Plant
Grade: M4
Experience: Minimum 12+ Years
Education Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure production and productivity of the sinter plant align with the Business Plan and monthly goals.
- Maintain sinter quality according to customer demand and implement quality control plans effectively.
- Plan and execute shutdowns efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy in physical verification and implement 5S across the sinter plant.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical departments for smooth plant operation.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders for day-to-day plant operations.
- Optimize equipment and manpower capacity utilization.
- Encourage innovative ideas for cost optimization and productivity improvement.
- Ensure Safety, Health, Environmental control, and Compliance as per standards.
- Uphold an ethical and professional work culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant/statutory provisions under applicable acts.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the sintering process and system.
- Familiarity with various raw materials and value-added processes.
- Understanding of quality parameters for input materials and sinter.
- Knowledge of crushing, weigh scales, ID fans, blowers, and conveyors.
