Position: Head - Compensation & Benefits

Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: MBA, PGDBM
Grade: M4

Salary Budget- ₹20.00 Lac - ₹40.00 Lac

Location- Bokaro Steel City

Note: To be eligible for consideration for this job opportunity, it is imperative that candidates have maintained a first division standing from 10th grade onwards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and implement HR policies regarding compensation and Benefits.
  2. Execute annual performance appraisal, annual performance bonus, productivity linked bonus, industry benchmark benefits, and stock options as per company policy.
  3. Develop compensation and rewards strategies for employees.
  4. Prepare HR budget and manpower cost as per the annual business plan.
  5. Perform salary reviews based on market and sector-specific benchmarking.

Required Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience in SAP.
  2. Knowledge of preparing compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and different grades.
  3. Familiarity with different kinds of benefits and incentives.
  4. Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Successful interpretation and implementation of HR policies.
  • Timely and effective execution of annual performance appraisals and bonus programs.
  • Development and implementation of effective compensation and rewards strategies.
  • Accuracy in preparing HR budget and manpower cost.
  • Successful completion of salary reviews based on market benchmarking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Overseeing the execution of annual performance appraisal and bonus processes.
  • Formulating and implementing compensation and rewards strategies.
  • Budgeting and cost analysis related to HR functions.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

General Remark: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, specifically in compensation and benefits. The candidate must have a full-time MBA or PGDBM qualification. The position requires hands-on experience in SAP, knowledge of compensation package preparation, and familiarity with various benefits and incentives. Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills are essential. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to interpret and implement HR policies effectively. The interview process will consist of 2 virtual rounds, including an HR round. The preferred age range for applicants is not specified, and the employment type is full-time.
