Job Description:

• Prepare a budget based on project scope and RFA.
• Act as liaison between engineering, SCM, Contracts, Vendors, and construction manager to ensure timely delivery of drawings, PO, and materials.
• Responsible for the coordination during execution phase and closeout of projects.
• Manage day-to-day progress, project cost controlling, project scheduling, project monitoring, management reports on a weekly basis.
• Have good working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint presentation), and SAP System.
• Must have strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down the organization.
• Must have experience handling a minimum solar project of 300 MWp.

Job Context:

1. Plan, Monitor and Control of the Projects.
2. Prepare a budget based on project scope.
3. Management of Site team and associated works.
4. Plan & Implement the Approved project schedule and preparing activity wise micro schedule.
5. Coordinating with internal and external cross-functional teams for smooth execution of the project and minimizing the overall time frame of the project.
6. Prepare and implementation of catchup plan based upon daily review with EPC regarding progress and deviation observed at site.
7. Closely working with O&M, EHS&S and quality team for timely and smooth handing over of the plant to O&M.
8. Reporting to Management on the progress and deviations at site.
9. Document lesson learned & Closeout the Projects with complete reconciliations

Principal Accountabilities:

• Project Execution

1. Project Schedule Preparation along with resource allocation.
2. Management of Site team and associated works.
3. Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks.

• Co-ordination with all stakeholders for smooth execution and timely handover.
• Budget and Resource Management
  1. Analyzing the work progress along with deployed resources and reporting if any lags to Management.
• Quality Control and Compliance

1. Implement quality control processes to ensure that designs meet industry standards and renewable energy regulations.
2. Ensure projects comply with environmental, safety, and sustainability regulations.

• Risk Management

1. Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including environmental, regulatory, and technical challenges.
2. Develop contingency plans and strategies to address unforeseen issues.

• Team Management
  • Train and manage a team of deployed vendor and support staff.
  • Delegate tasks & set performance expectations.

Organizational Relationships: Organizational chart indicating the position with two levels higher and two levels below

Organizational Requirements:

• Should be relocating to project locations as per management requirements.
• We should be looking for long-term association so candidate age should be 30 to 40 Years.

Qualification / Experience / Knowledge Required:

  • Time Management, Vendor Management

Screening Questions:

1. Must have handled independently 2-3 projects of solar or wind with a minimum capacity of 100 MW (Share in Detail).
2. Must have exposure to coordinating different stakeholders (Finance, Engineering, Techno Commercial) (Share in Detail).
3. Should have experience with the latest safety & field quality norms (Share in Detail).
