Reports To: BU CFO
Grade: M2-M3
Preferred Qualification: CA (First attempt), MBA in Finance - Tier 1 institute
Work Experience: 10-15 years
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the BU's finance function and assist in formulating the company's future direction and tactical initiatives.
- Collaborate with top management to develop the strategy for business units and execute it in alignment with the organization's strategy.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and initiate corrective actions to minimize variances.
- Develop financial and tax strategies, manage capital requests, and oversee budgeting processes.
- Prepare financial reports in compliance with accounting standards, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Facilitate internal and statutory audits, implementing audit recommendations.
- Anticipate business risk areas and implement risk mitigation initiatives.
- Facilitate the budgeting process and monitor SBU/department performance against defined parameters.
- Forecast working capital requirements and manage funding through appropriate channels.
- Manage foreign exchange rate risks.
- Evaluate capital expenditure programs and provide timely support for execution and funding.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for raising and structuring finance.
- Develop relationships with key individuals in the financial fraternity to secure competitive interest rates.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to develop and deploy accounting policies in line with Indian GAAP and IFRS.
- Ability to estimate cash flow requirements and manage investment surplus capital.
- Ability to develop and deploy risk management practices.
- Ability to assess financial and business proposals.
