Position Summary/Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and protection of facilities, assets, and personnel within the plant areas. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in maintaining a secure and compliant environment.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.

Work Experience: At least 10 years of experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Special Requirements: Extensive experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a focus on SEZ and IPP operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for smooth, accurate access control of man, material, and machines in the plant.
2. Manage and lead a team of security executives to ensure effective and efficient security operations by assigning tasks and taking regular updates.
3. Maintain and manage strong liaison with all concerned internal and external stakeholders of his area/zone.
4. Responsible for carrying out investigation of security/traffic incidents reported in his area/zone.
5. Develop a strong network of VLJ Security informers for collection of intelligence.
6. Development of his team members including business partner security officer.
7. Resolution of any conflict that can arise in his team members and external in his jurisdiction.
8. Drive Security Automation initiative in the area of operation.
9. Carry out risk assessment, audit, and mock drill of his area/zone.
10. Maintain the business continuity in the unit by proper security support.
11. Responsible for proper training of the security force in the area at all times.

• Security regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident management, emergency response, and crisis management.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse security team. Proven experience in leading security operations and managing security personnel. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and collaborate across departments.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess risks, develop security strategies, and make sound recommendations. Proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate security challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Integrity and Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
