Job Title: Head of Finance & Accounts

Location: Near Bajpur
Industry: Manufacturing – Plastics Products
Salary Range: ₹20-25 LPA

  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • Total Experience: 25+ years in finance and accounting, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
    • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years at the HOD/GM/Head level, managing teams and overseeing financial operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance & Accounts to lead and manage the financial operations across multiple manufacturing plants for a leading plastics manufacturing company. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record of over 25 years in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role at the HOD/GM/Head level. This role requires significant exposure to the manufacturing industry, with a focus on multi-plant operations. Candidates with a strong background in strategic financial management, team leadership, and operational oversight are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
    • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial performance.
    • Oversee financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
  2. Financial Operations & Controls

    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and optimize financial resources.
    • Manage tax planning, compliance, and regulatory reporting, ensuring adherence to local and national standards.
  3. Multi-Plant Financial Management

    • Oversee the financial operations of multiple manufacturing plants and branches, ensuring efficiency and consistency across locations.
    • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial management across all plants to streamline processes and reduce costs.
    • Coordinate with plant managers and operations heads to align financial goals with production and operational goals.
  4. Leadership & Team Development

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts teams across various plant locations.
    • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and best practices within the finance team.
    • Conduct performance appraisals, identify skill gaps, and facilitate training to enhance team capabilities.
  5. Cost Management & Profitability Enhancement

    • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, working closely with the production and procurement teams.
    • Analyze cost drivers and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising on product quality.
    • Develop strategies for profitability improvement across the business.
  6. Stakeholder Management & Reporting

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters with senior management, shareholders, and external auditors.
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and business performance.
    • Provide financial guidance to the Board of Directors and participate in key strategic initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in plastics or a similar industry.
  • Multi-Plant Management: Demonstrated experience managing finances for multiple manufacturing plants or branches.
  • Geographical Preference: North Indian candidates preferred; candidates must be open to relocation if not currently residing in North India.

  • Leadership & People Management: Proven experience in leading and mentoring finance teams across multiple locations.
