Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead and oversee the entire purchase function for our large-scale manufacturing operations. The role requires expertise in vendor management, stock availability, cost optimization, and effective coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control end-to-end purchase functions of the manufacturing unit.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

• Develop and implement purchase strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to meet production requirements.

• Collaborate with production, stores, and finance teams for seamless operations.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company standards.

• Review and analyze purchase data for cost savings and process improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Techno-Commercial / Material Management or related field.

• 10–15 years of proven experience in purchase/supply chain management in a reputed manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
