Key Responsibilities
- Profit and Loss Management:
- Oversee the profit and loss account for the Business Unit (BU).
- Ensure financial performance aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Budgetary Control:
- Develop and manage budgetary controls to achieve higher EBITDA and free cash flow.
- Monitor and adjust budgets to align with strategic goals.
- Internal Controls:
- Formulate and enhance internal controls to support business plan attainment.
- Ensure robust financial control environment in compliance with corporate policies.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee accounts, finance, budgeting, Management Information Systems (MIS), taxation, statutory audit, secretarial, and corporate governance compliances.
- Review and finalize statutory books of accounts as per GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and other applicable laws.
- Benchmarking and Best Practices:
- Constantly benchmark against leading players in the industry.
- Implement best practices to ensure optimal Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
- Strategic Advisory:
- Advise senior management on business strategy.
- Use financial analysis and reporting to provide actionable recommendations.
- Highlight the financial impact of potential actions or inaction on business performance, both short-term and long-term.
- Statutory Compliance and Governance:
- Review and monitor statutory compliances with various applicable laws.
- Participate in board meetings and provide necessary financial insights.
- External Representation:
- Represent the company in interactions with higher government authorities and external bodies (RBI, bankers, tax authorities, customs, etc.).

- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - 1st Attempt
- Experience: 10-12 years in finance function with deep quantitative background.
- Skills: Financial analysis, accounting, tax, contract analysis, budget control, statutory compliance.
